We are pleased to be able to offer the full range of services and amenities at Popes Creek Stable to you and your horse. The horses we board receive top quality nutrition, bedding, and turnout; as well as professional services from our veterinarian, farrier, and dentist. Horses are fed and checked twice daily, and receive turnout every day (weather permitting). For the rider, we offer a large riding ring with sand footing and lights, tack room, wash rack, and miles and miles of beautiful trails.

Our stable is a true horse barn, constructed of concrete blocks, with feed room, tack room, and full length hay loft. The stalls are built of finished pine with black accents. Each stall includes safety bars, built-in feed bowls, window, overhead light, and rubber stall mats. The barn is over 40 years old and very well-made and durable.

We are proud to be able to offer both full (stall) board and field board.  Our horses are happy and healthy, and are placed in a herd based on their individual position in the social order.  Safety is always our top priority.

Our stable manager, Gwen Galloway, has been caring for horses for over 30 years, and has been managing Popes Creek Stable since 1993.  She is very experienced in all aspects of horse health, nutrition, and maintenance.  She has been involved with horses her entire life, with success in A-rated horse shows, consulting with breeding farms and successful breeding of her own mares, training of young horses, instruction for adults and children, preparing for judged trail rides, and much more.

You can be sure your horse will be cared for properly and professionally.

We would be happy to schedule a time to meet with you and show you the stable.
